Where community meets education
The Vail Education Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on promoting education within the Vail School District. The foundation secures contributions from individuals, corporations and fund raising efforts. Funds are distributed to benefit students in the Vail School District.
Tax dollars provide funds for basic educational services. Great schools, however, rely on community support to provide supplemental programs and resources that make education come alive. We want the students in Vail to have an educational experience that is truly special, deep and enriching. The teachers in Vail deserve support and our students deserve the best educational experiences available to them. The funds granted by the Vail Education Foundation augment the resources available for schools within the district.
The Mission of the Vail Education Foundation is to expand the possibilities of both curricular and extracurricular education in the Vail School District through strategic funding of projects and strengthening community relationships.
The Vail Education Foundation was established in 1986 to raise funds to support the teachers and staff of the Vail School District. Mrs. Anne Gibson was a founding member and the backbone of the Vail Education Foundation. Our allocation requests have funded numerous materials and special projects in and out of classrooms across the Vail School District, including a tether-ball court, computer labs, first grade listening centers, playground equipment (soccer net, basketball, bases, etc.), library shelving, club supplies, Lifeskills Room Renovation, robotics clubs and supplies, and many, many more.
Vail Education Foundation is proud to continue in our 31st year of funding projects and needs in the Vail School District and community.
